How Do I Read Test Analytics?

Opening it

In the test list, find your test and click the analytics icon on its row, labeled View Analytics. The page covers that single test only and fills in as submissions land.

Summary cards

Four cards give the headline numbers:

• Avg. Score: the mean score across all submissions, as a percentage.
• Best Score: the highest score achieved by any submission, as a percentage.
• Submissions: how many people have taken the test so far.
• Avg. Time: the mean time spent across sessions, in HH:MM.

Grade Distribution

A half-donut chart shows how submissions fall across A, B, C, D, and F. It updates automatically, so you can see at a glance whether the difficulty was right for the group.

Violations

The Violations card lists every tracked behavior, Tab switched, Left window, Exited fullscreen, and Copied content, with a count for the whole test. If nothing was recorded, it shows a "No violations" empty state. For what triggers each event and how limits act, read Monitoring Rules and Violations.

Submissions

The Submissions table lists every participant who has submitted, showing their avatar and name, their raw score alongside the test's maximum (hover for the exact percentage), the time they took, and their violation count. Each row has a Grade button that opens the grading screen for that submission, where you review answers and award points on short answers. The table can be searched by name; before anyone submits it reads "No submissions yet."

Exporting

The table can be exported as a CSV from the Export button on its header. Clicking it opens a dialog where you pick which columns to include (Select All / Deselect All at the top, or individual checkboxes), then click Export CSV to download every submission as a comma-separated file named after the test and suffix _students (such as core_skills_students.csv), ready for a spreadsheet or your records.

Available columns and their headers in the CSV:
