## Publishing with the assistant

Once submissions are [graded](/guides/grade-submissions), tell the assistant what you want in plain language:

> "Publish the results for the Physics Midterm."

The assistant runs the same publish action as the manual flow and asks for your approval first, showing how many sessions it will publish. Scores then appear to participants according to the test's [result visibility](/guides/result-visibility), exactly as if you'd published manually. See [Publish Results](/guides/publish-results).

## Correcting after publishing

Missed an answer after the scores went out? The assistant can pull results back so you can fix and republish:

1. Ask it to unpublish the results.
2. Correct the affected submissions. See [Grade Submissions](/guides/grade-submissions).
3. Ask it to publish again.

Every publish and unpublish still stops for your confirmation; the assistant never releases or withdraws scores on its own.

## When it can't help

Sessions still in progress can't be published yet, and the assistant will say so instead of guessing. You also need to be able to publish in the organization yourself; the assistant can't do anything you couldn't.

## Before you publish

Results need to exist first: objective questions score themselves and written answers wait for review. See [Automatic Grading and Manual Review](/guides/ai-grading) for how results come together before this step.
